Wingate - James E. Lidester, 59, a native of Wingate, died Wednesday morning at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Lafayette where he had resided for the past 30 years. He was a barber. Surviving are the widow, the former Miss Hazel Lawson; two daugther, Mrs. Geraldine DePlanty and Mrs. Betty Fix both of Lafayette, two sons, Robert E. and Francis L. of West Lafayette; a brother, Ike Lidester, Wingate and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Utterback, Wingate and Mrs. Anna Zerface Waynetown. Funeral Services will be conducted 3 p.m. Saturday at the Hippensteel Mortuary in Lafayette. Burial in Springvale Cemetery, Lafayette.
